Most people today, have no idea of what the solitary nature of Jesus' Salvation is all about. In fact, most people don't even care if what they believe is the truth or not.... as long as they can go through some religious motions every week and have a churchy experience - they feel justified, then take off for the restaurant ritual or just go home and chill out with a beer and the long awaited football game. The scriptures cannot save us, they can only give us the hope of a future life in the presence of God. Part of that hope is the knowledge of who God is in relation to us. The scriptures tell us: 2 Pe 1:10 "Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:" To keep from falling into a pit of despair and lack of hope when certain trials of life come upon us all.... it takes "diligence" to really know how we are saved, so that we do not end up like any of those in Matt: 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." This blog will help pull the scales away from our eyes, scales that have been put there by the crafty work of Satan over the past 2,000 years. Jesus is coming soon to catch up his elect from the four corners of the Earth. If you want to be ready mentally and emotionally, you should understand His salvation and how He accomplishes it. Keep in mind that He did not need man's help at all in finishing the work that His father gave him to do - nor does He want man's help! Read carefully, as if your life depended on it. It does not! But a genuine interest and some study will help you have the joy that God wants you to enjoy. You will retain more in your memory that way! Below, you are going to be treated to a truth of the gospel that has always been there - but not always taught openly. The reason it has not always been taught is because Satan has done a real number on the thousands of churches throughout history. [www.Judaizers.com] He has been successful, just like Jesus predicted, at corrupting most of the churches that go by the name "Christian". As you read, you will see the delicate balance between the truth about salvation and the lies and errors. There is a fine line in the distinctions between the truth of salvation and "The Big Lie". Seeing the difference requires one to be willing to labor a bit to be able to see the whole truth. If it was that easy, Eve would not have been caught by the craftiest of all creatures. I will use the sermon booklet, published in 1647 by one Samuel Richardson, who lived from c. 1602 to 1658. He was one of the signers of the 1644 London Baptist Confession. It is called "Justification by Christ Alone". What makes it necessary to read the whole document carefully, is the way in which most Christian churches, including the "Reformed Baptists" and "Calvinists" of various stripes, make a dedicated effort to color the texts used so as to make salvation fit into a mold - that mold includes 'man's will' as part of the formula for salvation. Many people think that there are only two major divisions of Christian theology - Arminianism and Calvinism. Many people think that the word Aminian refers to the country of Armenia. The term actually refers [theologically] to one Jacobus Arminius, who was an opponent and contemporary of John Calvin. Arminianism is false Christianity. Actually there is a third and biblical position, which will be proven here in this blog and the other blog links listed below. This third position is the doctrine of the Apostle Paul. You will eventually see that Jesus, when He said: "It is finished" did not mean: "It is finished, when man finishes it" Salvation - the true eternal salvation of God's elect, is a solitary work, performed and completed at the cross by Jesus..... plus NOTHING! This traditional understanding of the solitary nature of Jesus' work in redemption has been referred to as the "Doctrine of 'No-Means' [or anti-means] and is simply understood by the statement: "By God's [the Father's] reckoning, all of His elect, from Adam to the last person before that Great Day, were in Christ Jesus, while He was on the cross. They were all covered by the benefit of that flood of His redeeming blood, which was shed for them alone". The technical aspects of His justification and the faith that He reckons to be in His elect, as His gift, are described in detail in the question and answer session, between the Calvinists and Samuel Richardson's article shown below. Calvinism is very dangerous and injurious to true Christian doctrine because it teaches several hallmarks of true doctrine, and yet it subtly denies the fished work on the cross! It is in step with it's Roman Catholic mother through the Reformation and the true originator of Calvinism, St Augustine [sic] [November 13, 354 – August 28, 430], a Roman Catholic philosopher and theologian. Everyone wants to fault the Roman Catholic church for her deadly "inquisitions, but the Calvinists and Reformers and many Puritans were complete enemies and persecutors of Historic, Old-School and Primitive Baptists, who have never been a part of the Reformation or Protestant Religion. These baptistic people date back to the first century in England, predating the Roman Catholic presence there by 400 years. There is no historical proof that these named Baptists have ever done violence in the name of Christ! Read, and see if you can detect the subtle differences between sacramental religion and true free grace. Enjoy!

Here is a must see book: The Lost History of Calvinism: by Elder Harold Hunt. The Five Points of Calvinism resemble the five major doctrines of salvation by grace. This study shows how the soul cheering doctrine of God's grace differs from the cold sterile system we know as Calvinism. 205 ppg. $16.00.
